I was referred here for a consultation with Dr Almeida. It was such a positive experience. I had to postpone the appointment due to flu symptoms and they happily rescheduled me. They called to confirm the appointment and gathered information so that they could prepare. When I arrived, Claire saw me trying to find the office and invited me in. She did a COVID screen and communicated everything to me. They had me fill out a 6-page form with personal info, health info, and gauging my sleep concerns. I met Dr Almeida in a consultation room and she asked open-ended questions to understand my complaint. She did an exam and then talked to me about options, expectations, risks, and benefits of treatment. She watched me to see if I had questions, and she answered them honestly and thoroughly. She told me the exact price for the treatment, and Claire prepared a letter for my insurance company so I could check for coverage. It was one of the only times I left a medical office satisfied that I had all the information I needed to make a decision. They were so friendly that I want to go back, lol. As for COVID measures, they were super prepared and organized. There's masks, sanitizer, spaced out seating, a receptical for used pens, plexi barriers, and signage for guidance. Dr Almeida wore a mask, face shield, gloves, and sat behind a plexi barrier during the consultation.
