“Tried for the first time yesterday since moving to the Kits area and this spot may have the best Indian I've had in Vancouver. Very flavorful and a hearty portion. Naan was so fresh and soft. Butter chicken full of flavor. The older and younger man working inside were very polite. It smells amazing as you enter inside. Love that they have a variety of specials. Can't wait to try more dishes.”

“The first impressions of this place were not good. First of all, their digital menu clearly stated that customers get free pickles and drinks with a full order, but they said that was no longer the case because many customers didn’t want pickles or drinks, so it was an additional cost. Then, after ordering my son asked to use a washroom (and they allow up to 10 patrons to sit in and dine, which we did) but they claimed to have no washroom and directed us to the Tim Hortons a few minutes up the street. I’m no lawyer, but I feel like this goes against provincial laws / Vancouver bylaws for dining establishments. Onto the food. We got a full order ($25) of half soy garlic and half cheese powder chicken to go along with shake-shake fries ($3.50). The food is nowhere near healthy, but it is delicious. The chicken is juicy and the fries are crispy and flavourful. I’m curious how much chicken you get in the combo meal as it is listed as a full order, but it’s only $12. Overall, the food is good, but the customer service isn’t great and they should provide the extra pickles and drinks if it is stated on the menu (would have been no problem for a restaurant with good service and customer appreciation…plus, a couple of tablespoons of daikon won’t break the bank). I’d go back to Chicko Chicken, just not to this location.”

“The food, service and ambiance all deserve a five star rating. We were four couples and found this gem at the last minute for dinner on a Saturday night in December close to Christmas. The only thing we missed was a square table for eight that was occupied by another group. We are definitely planning to go for an anniversary or birthday celebration.”

“Sometimes I leave short reviews and sometimes I put in the extra effort. This place deserves the extra effort. I've been to this store a few times and should probably finally jump on the great points program they have. This is much more than just a wine store. They have a great spirits selection and one of the best craft single can beer offerings in Vancouver. I was in the other day and was pleasantly greeted as I walked in by a number of staff who were laughing and chatting amongst themselves. I felt a good energy immediately, as I had on previous visits. I was shortly approached by a tall young man who looked to be a manager asking if I needed help finding anything. I asked for recommendations on beer as the selection was so large. He went into detailed explanations about several styles, breweries and options and I ended up leaving with almost 3x what Intended to purchase. I swear he must have tried every beer in that fridge. To say I was impressed is an understatement. At the till I was helped by a very nice guy with hair straight from the 80's! We had a nice exchange and laughed and I left with a smile on my face and WAY more beer than I expected. 100% will return to this amazing liquor store! Next time I'm in the area I will come to stock up on wine!”

We stopped in spoke to Justine and she helped whip up some.food on very short notice, really reasonably priced. Even helped with a very specific dietary request. I would highly recommend using them.”
