This review comes a bit late as I have been a member of the studio for the past 5 years, but here it is.
Throughout the years I have met different teachers, and I have to say that the studio works with some wonderful people. Knowledgeable, caring, passionate, compassionate, inclusive, and caring are only some of the adjectives to describe the team.
With the pandemic of 2020 they took action fast and progressed onto online classes, first on Facebook and then Zoom classes so that the students could manage their health (and sanity in these stressful times) from their homes.
A wonderful place to be a member of for its teachings, its people, and its fellow students.
In my 20 years practicing yoga, I find this a safe place to be a part of.
Full disclosure I am the owner of this yoga studio! But we love having our online studio and intimate private clients at our little space on the drive. See you there!
In my 15 years of practicing yoga, this is the best studio I've ever been to. The studio owner is attentive and really listens to her community. This means that Ocean and Crow delivers a safe, inviting, inclusive, non-toxic space for us to unplug from the world for an hour or so and to build a warm, healthy community. I highly recommend this space!
Loved it! absolutely loved it! cant wait to bring my sister on Monday!!! I took the slow class because i have pain in my back and knees and after years of pain i have finally slept like a baby for the past 4 days. Thank you Meghan!!!
When I walked in the studio, I feel a sense of coziness although they have a typical modern studio with very plain grey color paint. My instructor always have this easy-going sense of inclusiveness. The class that I had taken, is a combination of standard yoga and a creative use of aerobic, music and group movement around the little studio. The result is that the session became more fun and connected when most other yoga class that I have experience in other places are mostly anyone would do their own thing and leave. I feel that they have tap into a good creation of urban yoga without losing the traditional sense of tranquility in the art.
