(August 2, 2021, 7:56 pm)This quiet park is tucked away in a busy area of Commercial Drive, just North of Venables. There’s a small playground, several benches, a hilly slope, and a comfortable mix of sunny and shady areas. A pleasant discovery to make while walking around East Vancouver. I found a handmade sign that says ‘chicken park’ - which is strange. There’s also a parks board sign stating ‘No Dogs Allowed within 15 meters of the playground’ which is posted on the walking path directly beside the play area. Oh well.
