Kitsilano Piano Lessons

Brennan Chan has been my daughter's piano teacher for over 4 years. He helped her prepare for several festival recitals as well as her Grade 3 RCM exam. While I had always thought he was a good teacher, I was particularly impressed by how well prepared my daughter and another student of Brennan's were, at those events. Not only did they play well, but they were able to answer all the adjudicator's questions regarding the music technique confidently. That made them stand out among the other players who, though some played beautifully, were absolutely clueless when it came to those elements of the music.
Brennan is a very devoted and dedicated teacher and surely has a passion for what he does. He is always able to come up with some cool trick and smart strategy to help my daughter through a challenging part of a music piece. He has an amazing ability for making his lessons fun and lighthearted while thoroughly and efficiently addressing every aspect of the music.
I would absolutely recommend him for anyone looking for a piano teacher.
