Little Bird Dim Sum + Craft Beer

I am a big fan. For COVID purposes, they have really nicely spaced outdoor seating, and all the servers wore masks. I thought the service was great, too. I felt totally safe there, and I’m a bit nervous about being in public spaces right now.

The food was great. I love the bbq pork buns, and my favourite dumpling were the cilantro and shrimp and the chive and shrimp. Yum :)

From service to food to ambience to price, I think this is a super wonderful niche - Little Bird offers it all. I dream about their dumplings!

Nice decor. Great concept: dim sum + beer. Great service. But I've had better dim sum at places that scored far lower, like 3.7 vs the surprisingly high 4.4 scored here. That said, I went during the brunch; maybe there is different staff working.

Love this place. Small portions for a good price considering the quality of the food and service. Ordered the sticky rice last because i wasn't sure if my bf would like it but he absolutely loved it in the end. Also got the sponge cake served with condensed milk and that was perfect. The sponge cake has an amazing texture and flavor, not too sweet which makes a great vessel for the condensed milk which have a nice rounded sweetness and milky flavor to the cakes. Wonderful place and can't wait to come back.

One of my favourite dim sums I’ve had to date! I’m visiting Vancouver and I’ve had a bunch of dim sums in Toronto, but this is completely different ? the texture is super good and the filling is well cooked. One advice I would give people is be careful it’s super hot!

I ordered the matcha sesame balls for desserts, they were pretty heavy but good. I would’ve definitely wanted to try the different desserts but I was full. The vibes and the servers are super friendly and chill. I would recommend this place and I will come back again for sure!
