Vancouver House of Music - Piano & Guitar Lessons

Prior to meeting Aurora, I had been searching for a guitar teacher for my then 7 year old son to no avail. After meeting Aurora and having one lesson, I immediately saw the difference in the musical experience and instruction my son would be getting from her vs. our previous experiences. Aurora is a very passionate instructor and is very patient with children. I was so impressed with her teaching method that when I learned her co-founder Jannie teaches piano, we had to take piano lessons too! Jannie and Aurora are both excellent at their craft and both have a way with children that I admire. They don't just teach children how to play the instrument but they also go beyond the mechanics of playing it - the intention and the theory. We are so lucky to have found them! I highly recommend music lessons with them if you have a child who is interested.

Teacher Jannie is serious and gentle, and the children are looking forward to the weekly piano lessons. I hope that the children can stick to it happily under the guidance of the teacher and enjoy the touch and joy brought by music.
