Over the past 6 years Zak and the Big K Clothing team have been a huge supporter of the annual Fraser River Cleanup held yearly in Chilliwack BC. For volunteer numbers and the amount of waste removed, this cleanup has grown into one of the largest single day river cleanups in the country, and is the largest single day river cleanup in the Province. In 2019 a record 800 volunteers showed up to pitch in. To date over a 150 tons of garbage has been removed from the banks of the Chilliwack/Fraser River corridor.

Zak and his team has taken the safety standard of this event to the next level by providing high quality, long lasting safety vests for our volunteers who otherwise may not have one. Without their generous support, a river cleanup of this size would not be possible. These vests have been worn in all sorts of conditions and weather and they still are holding up strong. Big K has made a huge impact in the ongoing effort to keep our waterways and green spaces clean for all to enjoy.
