Found a really cute little grocery/ cafe on my bike ride today..So many high quality organic and local items for the lowest price I've seen in Vancouver...just came by for a snack and a lait and the prices are very low ...Come down and support this small local business in a small cute neighborhood..and if you love Pukka tea good place to buy some..also they supply compostable utensils for meals you buy here ..super plus!
Lovely quaint cafe" . Love their portuguese selection. Delicious cod cakes shrimp cake, sweet bread & cornbread.
What a hidden gem! My friends and I went here for a breakfast. Coffee is fine, but the baked good are out of this world! You must try the natas (custard tarts), cod cakes (insanely good, the fish is silky, milky, melts in your mouth!), potato gratin cake (you can really taste the potato in its best form!), apple scone (chunks of real apple with skin on are in the scone and it tastes naturally sweetened). The ambience is amazing too. They have an outside patio with heaters above the head to keep you warm. We had the best time here. I highly recommend it!
Union Market is a gem of a place with friendly servers, a beautiful front patio (with a heat lamp to keep you warm in the cooler season), fantastic baked goods (highly recommend the cod cakes and potato gratin) and amazing coffee.
They also have jams, sausages, and other goods for your convenience! Is a beautiful place and you have to check it out!
Such a fun place to get nice home made treats, all good
What I came for was their corn bread. Best I have ever had. They gave been making it for years. It's a quaint community store with lots of interesting products. The clients get to sit out side and enjoy their purchases. As an other treat it is on a bike path, I can stop get what I want and people are happy to watch my bike
Win win. Check it out went you are riding around the east end.
