“Went here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. We arrived around 9:30 AM and were able to snag a seat in the small dining room before the rush came around 10 AM. They have Turkish coffee which is not very common, so I ordered one and it was great. The food was delicious and the portions were quite generous. There were unique art pieces everywhere, which created a bohemian vibe. The location on Denman near English Bay was very convenient! The service we had was exceptional, no complaints at all.”

“The NY cheesecake was DELICIOUS - light yet rich. One slice is large enough to share between two people. I asked for strawberry coulis and was delighted by the slices of fresh strawberry. ($1.25 additional cost.) I thought the chocolate cheesecake was too bland, but my toddler loved it. The quiches are also large enough to share, my toddlers loved the ham quiche. The accompanying salad was mediocre - mixed baby greens with vinaigrette dressing and a scatter of pumpkin seeds. Update: they've since added tomatoes, raisins, and sunflower seeds to the salad, it was quite tasty! Service was frustratingly slow - but staff were friendly and helpful. Update: service was much faster this time. There are two booth table sections which are great kids, or ppl to sit comfortably and work for a few hours. Would recommend - specifically for their NY cheesecake.”

“Their service is great, you will always receive a smile form whoever gets your order, even when they are busy. They have a variety of options, and the good quality of their ingredients is evident. Basically one of those places that are always worth it”

“Gong Cha Renfrew is good place to eat if you're looking for an affordable place to grab some bubble tea and a meal. It's got a pretty diverse menu too, with many different drinks and much more food than I expected! If you're in Vancouver or nearby, it's definitely worth checking out for lunch or any other time of day! Gong Cha Renfrew is a great casual restaurant that offers all sorts of bubble tea options.”

“This place has definitely improved. They have finally hired some people that keep things running smoothly. Conveniently located at Marine Gateway and a nice little place to kill time or get a quick drink. Food takes longer than the three minutes they usually quote.”

“Good cappuccino. The breakfast sandwich (egg, ham, red pepper...) was fantastic. The atmosphere was great too. Friendly staff and other customers. Lots of space and cute spaces to sit and chill for a bit. It's a wonderful neighborhood cafe.”

“I'm very thankful to have this beautiful French restaurant in my neighborhood. Finally tried it for the 1st time. You have to get there early as its 1st come 1st served and due to it's exceptional service and food it's busy but well worth the wait. I went for dinner but plan on returning very soon for their breakfast. You couldn't go wrong with anything on the well thought out menu. But you must try the cheese board served table side. Enjoy!”

“Great selection of teas here and usually a friendly and knowledgeable staff. A few times I’ve gone (and lingered, hoping for service), I’ve felt seriously ignored in favour of whoever was at the bar. Last time it was a group of cute girls, and although my partner and I waited 15 minutes for service, we couldn’t get the sales guys to drag themselves away, so we left without making any purchases. Will definitely keep trying because this place is a gem.”

“Such a fantastic little hidden gem in Strathcona. Not just a neighbourhood grocery, it’s also got a wonderful cafe serving up all the usual coffees that you love as well as really great homely food such as soups, sandwiches, wraps and baked goods. It has really nice indoor and outdoor seating available too. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area”

As an other treat it is on a bike path, I can stop get what I want and people are happy to watch my bike Win win. Check it out went you are riding around the east end.”

“This is one of my all time favorite places in Vancouver! The crepes are so good (as is the rest of their food and drink) and also the atmosphere is nice. It's in a house in a residential neighborhood and so it feels so homey. There's not loads of seating but I have always had a place to sit. I recommend the brie and pear crepes and also their chai latte.”

“The food here is really good.. everything is high quality . Fresh and real . I put 4 stars cause I felt like my food took a long time... Not a huge deal and quality can take longer but it still threw me off so that's my honest experience.”

“The coffee was strong dark roast and the star of the show here is the cheesecakes which are very creamy and top notch. Friendly service. This location recently opened, unfortunately already I noticed the wall design wallpaper is bubbling and starting to peel. We also had one of our coffees served with a cup that had lipstick on it, they quickly replaced and apologized so service is top notch. I would say the environment is minimalist, the colour scheme was pleasing and it was clean. I would like to see some tables dedicated to non laptop users.$-$$ A welcome coffee shop to see in the Westend.”

“Good, but very to the point. Don’t expect the full third wave coffee experience from the cafe. You can buy all their beans here as it’s their roasting depot, but it’s clearly not meant to be a cafe first, the cafe is more of an added bonus to the factory. Pretty simple small clean interior, not much of an atmosphere going on. It feels like a coffee roaster, but not a cafe, if that makes sense. Staff were both nice and knowledgeable though. Not really the place you go to sit and enjoy coffee, no patio space outside either from what I see. This was written during the pandemic so perhaps this may change in the future, but it doesn’t look like a large space for seating in any case. One type of espresso bean and two batch brews. No pourover options etc. Granted, the caliber espresso, a medium roast, that they do serve here is excellent. They do sell coffee paraphernalia as well.”
