Off the Grid Waffle Cafe

Was really hoping they'd be open for at least some sort of a limited dine-in option, but sadly only takeout was offered at the moment... hence all the chairs still being on the table instead.

Nevertheless, there were so many waffle options; I decided to try their "Thick! Ham and Egg Sandwich" since I was kinda craving something with grilled cheese and egg... yeah not really made of waffles, but it came with waffle fries, so guess that counts. ? As a whole everything was quite delicious!

We ordered in advance for pick up as they as still closed to dine in due to COVID-19. My brothers recommended to me so I thought let's try order Friday night dinner and have it at my house.

We ordered:
2 chicken and waffles
1 chicken with onion rings
1 spam waffles sliders

My hubby made fried eggs to add to his chicken with onion rings. He loves fried egg.

The fried chicken so so flavourful, crispy and juicy all at the same time! I can't believe I didn't know about this place. The waffle is a bit small as I finished the waffle about 4 bites left of chicken. But fried chicken on its own isn't horrible ?

The menu is extensive. Will try other dishes soon!

Been here a couple of times and I love their milkshakes. They are really creamy and really good flavours. My only complaint was the size of the washroom, it was too small.

Place seems to be new and it has some great quality to it. It was tidy and looking new. Though, it smelt little funky around the seat near washroom....
Staff were super kind and generous.
They got wide range of food selection, from waffles to brunch. We had some shakes and waffles, they were all good but nothing too special. Compare to the quality, price seemed reasonable.
Personally, this place is not my favorite, but definitely a place you should visit.
Also, around its location, there are not that many bakeries or cafes, so if you happen to dine near and want to go for dessert, this is the place.

Excellent environment and atmosphere. I love the food here, their waffles are really good. Their potatoes are amazing. Its really pricey but having it once in a while is fine. There's a few board games to play there. Place gets pretty cold though.
