Breka Bakery & Café (Kitsilano)

Love the Cafe Americanos and the cheese scones are addictive. Fast service great food. The only catch is finding a table to sit at, when many are occupied by lone people on laptops for hour after hour (though sadly this seems commonplace elsewhere too). It's a bakery folks, not your office. Be respectful of that!

I wanted to send a big shout out to your staff at the West 4th location. My family and I were witness to their incredible patience and compassion in dealing with an elderly customer who was having trouble paying. Despite there being numerous customers in line, they took the time to assist her without making her feel embarrassed or rushed, truly going above and beyond. It was a pleasure to observe and restored our faith in humanity. Not to mention the food and beverages were, as always, amazing! Thank you to your incredible staff :)

The pastries are delicious. The staff are friendly. The cafe needs to hire a person to clean up the tables on time.

This is a great place to grab a treat. Their coffee is decent and they have a nice selection of baked goods. I really wish that they would bring back their lemon crumble bars though... in my opinion, that was their best dessert and their other lemon-flavoured options are just not up to par. I also wish they had better seating, especially for a place that is open 24/7. Still a good spot to get a snack at a reasonable price.
