“You can find good quality and variety of fruits and vegetables overall. But the best thing is the fair to cheap price. A plus are the groceries, pretty much whatever you need for cooking and cashiers are nice.”

“Clean warehouse that serves their customer-facing stores.”
Address: 2627 W 16th Ave, Vancouver, BC V6K 3C2, Canada
“Good parking, in a convenient location that is generally not too busy. The store is a bit crammed, with an organic vibe, and priced to keep the riff-raff out, but friendly to passive aggressive seniors and righteous electric vehicule drivers.”

“Excellent store, small but has most essential items you need day to day. Nice staff willing to help if needed and they were polite. Will shop here again and would recommend this store over most of the convenience stores on East Hastings”

“Support local owned grocery stores! They actually have more unique selections than the big box stores like superstore. Great place for Asian goodies”

“Small grocery shop with good vegetables and fruits. Limited space and diversity of products.”

“I love 88 supermarket once I found it that it's so near my home! Even if it isn't, I wouldn't mind popping in every now and then. Great selection of Asian products and fairly priced on most of the product. For example, if you're craving for steaks and don't really care for the grade, you can find steaks here pretty reasonably priced. Anyways, I love to grocery shop here!”

The value is great, The location is better, It's a pillar of the community, support Banana Grove!”

“Love this place. They might not have the best selection or prices but they do pretty well with both. Where they really shine is their hours. I love going to buy groceries at 2am fairly often and this is the best place to do so.”

“For such a small store they usually have what is needed, at a reasonable price A perfect corner store run by a very nice family.”
Address: 6095 Fraser St, Vancouver, BC V5W 2Z8, Canada
“The store is what you'd expect from a small local grocery store that doesn't advertise specialty items. Every section of the store has a good variety of brands to choose from. The store carries local produce, sells local bread, has a respectably sized household that will cover most people's needs and has great prices on frozen foods ($11/2kg frozen blueberries anyone?). Most of the in-store specials will appear on items that rotate quickly, not just food products that may be approaching their best before date. You can't go wrong with this store if you happen to need something quick at a odd time of day. It's open until nine and you can always find something fresh to keep you going or fill your shelves.”

“I am happy that there are stores to cater to South Indian market. Having lived in Bay area (California) I have had the access and luxury to buy south Indian groceries easily but in Vancouver the options get limited. However, Thurga stores has all basic necessities required for South Indian cooking. I didn't find wide variety of vegetables but definitely good for spices, cereals etc.”

“They have good quality and fresh meats all the time ❤️❤️❤️ I remember before when I used to live around this neighborhood in Fraser street. If I don't feel going to Costco in Vancouver.. the best market to buy fresh meats is Dhakar store, meats are so fresh. They sell FRESH chicken liver! That Costco doesn't have ?.. but now, I live in Burnaby. I still went here. It's because of the quality of the meat "FRESH". AND PEOPLE WORKING HERE ARE NICE AND POLITE”
