Mindful property management

I recently spent the last year renting from one of the Port Coquitlam properties. I wanted to give a review for any one that looks them up while considering a rental. My experience has been good. I think the units are over priced for the area and the age of the building but beyond that the management has been responsive and quick with all repair requests. There has been a more hands off management style which I greatly appreciate. What I mean by this is the rules are not strictly enforced. Unless it's a problem little things slide and I don't mean that in a bad way. I mean this in a good way. It makes the experience better not having every little thing nit picked, over bearing control and warden like behavior. It is balanced nicely. Example would be at my old condo they where stricter about Christmas lights, couldn't be before December 1st and had to be gone by January 15th. I don't remember reading any memos on that here. And even if there was or is a policy about it, as some people took them down well into February, it was not enforced. I like this kind of management style. Either way, I don't know if all properties are like this or not. I would hope they are and this laxness is a top down thing and not local to the building I rented from. Company is professional with the paperwork, move in inspection report, I will find out soon about the return of my damage deposit. Quick on requests for repairs. Easy to contact. Best property management company I have dealt with to date and far above better than any I've had before.
