BMO Bank of Montreal

I've been to several Bank of Montreal branches on Vancouver Island, and I had the best experience at this particular branch. I was helped quickly and the person helping me was friendly and very knowledgable. The branch was also very clean and tidy, and there was a good amount of parking available outside. Overall very good!

Some tellers here are very nice, helpful and friendly. ?

Unfortunately, others not good. ? Lack knowledge of their services and one teller recently was downright RUDE ( sorry, no name tags so don't have names). One of the managers did follow up on that occasion and that was unexpected and appreciated.

They need more tellers on duty. Too much waiting in line for even simple transactions.

Also, some tellers are chatting too long with customers about unrelated subjects when people are waiting. Friendly is good but be mindful of the people who are standing there, waiting and waiting!

OK but definitely room for improvement.

We do most of our banking, investments... with other banks now but previously in another BC city, BMO was our favorite by far. Nanaimo needs to catch up in that regard.
