Great little place. Lots of cool birds and rocks, even saw some seals poking their heads out if the water. Highly recommended

A great little park, to sit and allow your body and brain to catch up after a long day. Great place for a quick hike and some food. You can often see sea creatures from the beach.

Very relaxing seaside small park at Nanoose bay BC area. Please use caution while walking on those rocks especially during low tide times they can be slippery. Can see plenty of birds during Heering season. No washroom available in park. Nice views and sky is awesome during sunsets if partially cloudy.

Local, beautiful, easy walking trails in the forest and to the beaches. Quiet, and well hidden but when you get to the bottom, WOW! The sea lions are hilarious! Oh and there is an outhouse at the top of the main path.

I once came here for a geology field trip, and had been wanting to return for years. It was so worth it. For those who love landscapes, there's such a gorgeous variety. Cobble beaches with driftwood are framed by rocky bluffs and a forest full of arbutus, gary oak, and Douglas fir; truly a stunning variety of plant life. There's meandering trails that are dog friendly, but some can be a bit steep so tread carefully!

Amenities include an outhouse near the top, close to the parking, but there's no parking lot, just a pull-out area by the side of the road.

There are some nearby houses, but it's still a quiet retreat that I absolutely recommend. You can totally swim in the warmer months, but it's the ocean so it will be chilly! Or you can sunbathe on the wide, flat rocky bluff if you'd rather avoid the rocky beach.

There's an abundance if wildlife too! Tonnes of beautiful and varied species of birds fly around the shore or surf its waves. There's also a constant chorus of sea lions from across the bay presumably, but you'll see them hanging out in the water here too! I can only presume that there must be many small fish that attracts both the birds and the sea lions.

It is a provincial park, so please respect it! And it will respect you too.
