Beautiful shore dive location off Nanoose Peninsula. Short trail from parking lot to three beaches. There is a toilet at the parking lot, and a bench and picnic table overlooking the ocean.
We saw a pack of sea lions hunting fish very close to shore along with abundant sea life.
Absolutely beautiful.
Short hike to beautiful view of Salish Sea & islands
Came here to scuba dive. Good visibility and very little garbage. I will come back.
May 8/2018.Thanks to the First Nation people for providing this park.As a former boater I noticed there was good anchorage on the north west side,a small half moon cove afforded to boaters.Good day use.For a land lubber it’s an easy walk in from the parking lot to fantastic views. The beach is easily accessible for hiking around within the park.
Also park has benches about the area.Sit back and take in the views that will leave you dreaming long after you leave. While I was there a few seals swam by,I tried to capture a few pictures of them but they weren’t willing to pose.I wonder why.
