Nanaimo Lakes Old Mill Campground

Address: Unnamed Road, 1V0, Errington, BC V0R 1V0, Canada

Campground Lodging Park

“My husband and I recently spent 4 nights tenting at Old Mill Campground. We were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the setting is with a small lake surrounded by sizable treed hills. The campsite is great for families and the host, Kelly, runs a tight ship to ensure your experience is a good one. Unfortunately, we were camping in a site above one of the large campsites hosting a large group of people. As the drinking progressed the noise increased. Kelly did not hesitate to address the group and shut the party down at curfew so other campers could sleep. Kelly also helped move us and another family of campers a couple of days later, to a quieter campsite further away from the party group. Some sites are more private than others and they all vary in size. Many folks have a trailer or RV. The outhouses are kept clean and stocked. The main small beach has 2 picnic tables and is shared with the parking lot. A few of the sites have access to their own beach but are close to the road. As the campsite belongs to a forest company with gravel roads that accommodate logging trucks (although we didn’t see any), we found the area to be quite dusty. I would highly recommend this place to camp as it is well managed and beautiful.”
