Pacific Moon Rising Bar & Grill

We enjoyed a great dinner out in mid May. The calamari was excellent as our appetizer. Our main entrees were very tasty. Just a note about the Sangria….the ice really watered it down and it needed some citrus fruits for more flavour.
Service was quite slow because they were SO busy! 😀
But it’s nice to see this kind of quality restaurant in Nanoose Bay!

Truffle potatos was the best ever. The cheese cake was amazing!

Nice recently reno'd restaurant/pub.
Lots of seating be it tables or bench seats.
Great views of the bay, nice upper level patio. Sit up bar seating.
A couple of tv's for sports and a nat gas fireplace.

I came to try the chowder but unfortunately they were out as well as a couple of other items on the menu.
Had the soup of the day instead which was good. Food going by looked good also.
True 20oz pints.

Clean reno'd washrooms.

Lots of parking as well as designated motorcycle spots.

Amazing opening day as the Moon certainly Rises over the views of the Pacific ocean! They have a red sealed trained head chef who created a unique menu along with classic dishes.

The entire restaurant has been renovated from top to bottom and looks amazing inside with a nice feeling of being in a west coast bar and grill. There is a stage for live music and an outdoor patio once the weather gets nicer. The restaurant has an amazing view of the waters of Craig Bay.

The service was friendly and inviting when you arrive. They are great with checking in on your table and any requests for things. I am very impressed by the opening day and definitely recommend everyone to try them out!
