NORSED Driving School

Wow...that is all I can say about Ron and Des and the Norsed driving school. From day one you are greeted with a smile from Des at registration which was all painless. I had the privilege of Ron as my instructor and he is an excellent teacher. I was doing my class two and he made doubly sure I was prepared for my road test in which i indeed did pass. Ron is a guy who enjoys life and a few laughs which make the education process a lot easier and a lot more fun!
I highly recommend Norsed for your driver training 100%!!

I used Norsed to attain my Class 3. I must say that the Owners Ron and Des are both absolutely fantastic people, they were flexible and accommodating, they have a wealth of knowledge stemming from decades of being in the driving business and are clearly passionate about sharing their experience with new drivers in all classes. Des and Ron are both very kind and patient and it is clear they care deeply about all their students. My lasting experience with some of their other instructors (Jon and Justin) were very positive as well. I would strongly recommend anyone to this driving school and if I choose to someday upgrade my own license, I would absolutely use Norsed again. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Ron, Des and Steve provided excellent training for my Air Brakes Endorsement. I came into the class on Friday night knowing zero about how air brakes work. At the end of the next day I passed the assessment and feel like I have the knowledge needed to move forward in the real world, with a focus on safety.

The main instructor Steve's teaching style was great and very polished. Despite having a very methodical approach to the subject matter, he was always happy to take time out to answer questions. He would also defer to Ron when it came to really technical questions some people had that only a mechanic could answer.

They have a fully functional air brake system on the wall using real components, laid out to where they go on a truck. This is extremely helpful for understanding how it all works.

Highly recommend this school for the Air Brakes Endorsement, and from everything I saw, the rest of their courses would be of similar quality.

I was very nervous going into my lessons for a commercial license, having never driven with air brakes and not being very mechanically minded. Ron and John are so patient and let me take the time to learn the best way that worked for me. I felt so comfortable with both of them, and their critiques were said with such kindness. Des is also amazing, she put together a little package of material for me to look over before my lessons. Having an idea of what I was going to learn, helped to ease my mind.
I passed my road test with zero demerits, and I couldn't have done it with out them! You can feel the passion from all of them to see people succeed. I highly recommend this company!!!

At 41, it was time for me to become a driver. As reluctant as I was about it, I knew that with living in the country, I had to be able to drive. My partner signed me up for some driving lessons with Norsed, and upon first going into the office and meeting Des, I immediately felt relief. She's so friendly, and knowledgeable. I got my first lessons booked right away, and they were able to easily work with my schedule. My first lessons with Ron were fantastic. He is a very patient man!! Always positive and helped me work through my fears and anxiety about driving, while making sure I was understanding the rules of the road. I passed my road test with flying colours and have a new sense of freedom. These lessons were absolutely the catalyst for me being able to pass my test and be a confident driver. Absolutely life changing, I 100% recommend them!! Also, the road test car was fantastic.
