For the second time I have been very pleased with my exemption by Dr. Hurd. However, picking up my glasses was something else. I was told I didn't have to make an appointment. When I went today, someone else was waiting outside. My glasses were brought out to me. When I said I would like to see how they looked, a mirror was brought out to me. By this time there were three of us outside. After looking, my glasses were taken back inside and adjusted. By the time I was finished, four people were waiting. When I made a comment, I was told I could come back . Why would I do that, to wait outside again. I know we are in covid but Fyi has had ample time to sold this problem or at least tell people that they need an appointment. I went during the winter to have my glasses tightened - waited outside and it was really cold - and told they were working on the situation. Obviously that has never been addressed.

Dr. Pratt was very personable and easy to talk with. I also ordered new glasses and was very pleased with the service even in these harder times. I would recommend them.

I find the Assistants are extremely helpful. I had cataract surgery and while awaiting for my eyes to adjust they were kind enough to adjust and repair some interim glasses even though I had not purchased them there. The Assistants did not know I do usually purchase glasses from them. Also Doctor Hurd is very patient and thorough in addressing any concerns. I would not hesitate to recommend FYI.

I decided to try this place because Dr. Hurd was so amazing with my mother-in-law who suffers from dementia. He was thorough and answered all my questions. The staff went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied with my frames and my lenses. Highly recommend this place.
