During Covid 19 we were unable to personally view our new home and Kel went above and beyond to FaceTime a walk through the home with us. He is a very honest and thorough professional. I will never forget how he assisted us when we moved into our new home as the garage door was acting up and he contacted the repair man who turned up almost immediately to fix the garage. Where do I begin. Kel came highly recommended from a colleague of our real estate agent in Squamish. We wanted someone with a thorough knowledge of both the market on the island and someone we could trust had our best interest at heart when it was all said and done. We found him to be honest, extremely hard working and served as a dang good therapist when anxieties hit us from one angle or another. When we missed the 8.40am ferry from Horseshoe Bay (covid extended lineup) what did he do with our itinerary? He immediately got back on the phone to those agents and successfully rescheduled all 5 showings for later in the day as we had to now wait for the 11.15. Plus he picked us up at ferry terminal as walk-ons from Nanaimo so we didn't have to pay for car fees. With masks on and plenty of hand sanitizer we ultimately found our house that particular day. Because the market was hot we ended up putting an offer on our ferry ride home later that night while Kel cut short his anniversary dinner with his wife in order to broker the deal. And while it looked like it might not happen at one point (another offer was ahead of our) Kel diligently kept us in the game only to find out the next morning our strategy paid off. Yes Kel is the real deal. Highly recommended.
