Trillium Lodge

My family & I recently said goodbye to our mother, grandmother & great grandmother at Trillium Hospice Care. The nurse practitioners are absolutely amazing! I'd also like to sincerely thank Dr. Hunter for her support and care in dealing with our life event.

My mom spent the final month of her life at Trillium. All of the staff was friendly and attentive to the needs of the patients. I was impressed with the beauty of the environment such as the layout and the garden areas. My mother appreciated the view from her window of a garden bench and flowers.

My Husband is being treated with stage 4 prostate bone cancer and ALZ. The caregivers, L.P.N.'s and Nurses are excellent and I was there everyday with my husband helping him and enjoying the interaction with all the hardworking caregivers and staff at Trillium Palliative Care. My husband settled into a excellent routine and was very calm and relaxed immediately. I would personally like to send all of our appreciation to everyone and especially to Dr. Marlene Van Der Weyde and Marie Claire Hopwood as my husband's Palliative Care Doctors. Exceptional care 10/10. Thank you to everyone and will definitely be back there as soon as I can. Thank you to the exceptional Volunteers in the Support Room I miss all of you very dearly. I took my Mom to Trillium a couple of days ago to live there as she has broken both of her hips and can no longer live independently at home.

I was impressed with the cleanliness of the building and the friendliness of the staff. They seem like a very caring bunch of people.

There are plenty of activities including a barbecue that they use in the summer. I am relieved to have my mother stay in such a nice place.
