Amazing place and people!
Aki is the best pharmacologist I have met: a carring and gentle person that truely listen to you. This place is definitively my place to go now in Qualicum. I used to commute to his other pharmacy in Parksville because I knew they would take a good care of us. Super happy this place opened in Qualicum!
Was visiting my kids from overseas, the pharmacist was kind enough to help me out with my meds. Can't thank enough. Not exaggerating but went to more than 10 pharmacies, all of them refused. These people understood my situation, also educated me on walk-in doctors in Nanaimo for further prescription, they charged me $100 for the visit and that's all, whereas the hospital was $900. I tell my kids to support this new business, went above and beyond to help me, even though I was just visiting and zero chance in regards to be their repeat customer. You can sense the kindness as soon as you walk-in to their space & feel welcomed.
Ever since I lost my drivers license, I had no choice but to use one of the costly pharmacies in town. I like one of them because they do give good...ish service. However my Doctor wanted to put me on a puffer , she said it was costly but this new pharmacy might workout better if you find it too expensive as they have better prices. At first I disregarded her advice, and went to the regular place. The puffer was a whooping $150 a month, for a retired senior that's too much. After they picked me up from the floor, I left without the medication. A few days later I heard tablet's ad on radio and thought to give them a call, their price was $108, I was expecting a $7 difference because of their $5.89 dispensing fees, but it was the first time I realized drug prices can also be lower.
I transferred all my prescriptions, and am happily saving $150 a month between all my meds, and exactly same stuff whatsoever , I even confirmed with my old pharmacist buddy.
They deliver for free, they give me great advice, and they really care. The pharmacist asked me if the doctor had applied for special authority for the puffer, he faxed the doctor, got it done, and now I don't even pay the $108.
Literally god sent, this Christmas I will have pockets for a bigger turkey & more gifts. Good job guys...
Great service, great prices, their dispensing fees are $5.89 is just the starting point, the prices of medications itself are also low even for brand medications. Their simple logic is no franchiser to part profits with and they get to truly be their own boss. These folks love to look forward for the next day and come to work , you can feel they like what they do. I know I am in safe hands, no one is jaded, and if I am tired after all my hospital visits, they actually lighten my day. Good job guys , good concept, god bless :)
Their vaccine delivery company messed up their delivery and were out of vaccines when I came late afternoon for my appointment.
They had almost 100 people to reach in less than half an hour, which was impossible. Initially I was frustrated, but the pharmacist made it up by specially coming to us and give the vaccination.
I thank god this mishap happened, since then I am their customer, thought to give the new guy a chance. I was amazed at what I am saving compared to other pharmacies down the street. Some medications I do brand only, with their brand drug pricing I was saving over $100 a month.
I am so happy I made this decision, clean pharmacy, fast service, free delivery and most of all , nice people. Merry Christmas guys :)
