When having my oil changed at Canadian Tire earlier this month I was told the clutch on my 2010 Toyota Yaris needed to be replaced sooner than later, at a cost north of $2,000.00!

A colleague suggested I try Wellington Garage and have Steve take a look. When I called Steve, he was very polite on the phone and told me to stop by anytime for a free inspection.

When I took my car in, the first thing I couldn’t hep but notice was how clean the shop was! Steve was professional, polite, and after his inspection told me and I am quoting him “If I was doing an official writer inspection I would not indicate the clutch needs to be replaced at this time!”

Steve then added I would know when I feel the clutch slipping and to budge between $1,000 - 1,100.00 for parts and labour. That’s $900.00 less than Canadian Tire!!!

One thing I do know, Steve will be serving my vehicles from now on!!!

    Thx Steve

I started going here by word of mouth. One of my chefs told me that "the guy there" is an extremely skillful, intuitive, honest, and impressive machinic. My chef talked about how this machanic could do work much faster then what the computer said or what other machanics said. So when my car had a belt issue, I booked an appointment. I ask if I could bring it in prior the appointment just to have a look at it, and the guy on the phone agreed. One thing I noticed right away was how well he treated me on the phone. He respected my understanding of the situation and valued what I had to say. I find this very important.

Of course, when I got to the shop the belt stopped having the issue (after it being a problem for 2 weeks). The guy explained to me very clearly and knowledgeably what and why this could be happening. He kindly told me that I can bring it by anytime the noise happens again.

The second time I brought it in was when my car door lock wouldn't open from the inside. I tried to fix it myself by taking the panel off and analyzing the problem. I unfortunately made it worst. After I had tried fixing it the outside would not open either. The door was now closed and stuck. I called Wellington Garage and they told me to bring it by that day at 2:00 PM so that he could have a look at it. When I brought it there, the same guy I had talked to earlier (the guy who answers the phone and who gave me knowledge about my cars belt problem) helped me out again. I don't know how he did it, but he fixed it in 5 minutes, maybe less. This guy is a natural at his work. He did not even charge me for his time. I will keep coming back here. It really makes me happy to know that good machanics exist like this. Try them out for yourself if you need a honest and amazing garage to go to. I personally believe that everyone deserves that. 5 stars, no doubt about it.
