The Bulldog Hotel Silver Star

Food was very good in the restaurant. Rooms are fine. In a lower floor and some noise coming from room above. Conveniently located in relation to the village and lifts.

Great place, pleasant stuff. We had amazing week here with our kids.

Customer service was excellent! All the staff were really friendly and accomodating to any special requests. The location is amazing. This hotel is not your typical fancy cookie cutter hotel. The Bulldog has lots of character, murals on the walls, bright colours and a great atmosphere. We enjoyed spending 4 nights here and would do it again in a heartbeat.

This was a good place to stay because of how close it is to the slopes. I'm unsure why its called a hotel though because it's definitely more hostel.

There is a spa but its only able to have five people in it at a time which is ridiculous! In our room the hairdryer and the soap dispenser weren't working and the shower temperature valve is the wrong way around! The bathrooms also don't have locks on them which is strange.

They do provide free coffee, muffins and toast in the morning which was a plus!

The hotel is in the center of town and has a great pet policy no cost at all unless your pet leaves a mess. that being said there were a few things that could be improved upon including the amenities in the room they have a nice environmentally-friendly dispenser inside the shower that doesn't seem to be filled up at all and instead they place little packages of soap and shampoo but you need to get refreshed nearly daily maybe twice daily if there's more than one person.I'm asking at the front desk for items you may or may not be able to get those items these are the reasons why I have chosen three stars a one other thing to mention is the shower if you turn it to cold you get hot water and if you turn it to hot you get cold water so for the first shower it's bit of an unpleasant experience.did you have a microwave down the lobby and as well as a great coffee machine makes coffee or hot chocolate or espresso and they also have a nice restaurant that guess the hotel get 10% off of.one thing I'd like to suggest to the ownership though is they should have two times for housekeeping since they are super pet friendly and they are ski resort I feel like most guests will be out during the day skiing leaving their pets behind in their room not able to be cleaned up not having towels refreshed amenities refreshed so there should be a housekeeping option for the afternoon for apres ski.
