“Amazing experience! Freedom Flight School wasn't a traditional school experience, it was so much better. The two instructors, Dave & Don are awesome guys who seem to be doing this mostly for their love of flying. The schedule is flexible, the atmosphere amazing and the instruction is top-notch. Everything is very low-key and low pressure, with the ability to learn in your schedule for a fixed price. They have no rush to get you out the door (or off the launch!) and believe that you're not ready to launch (or graduate) until you feel you're ready. Their feedback is positive and encouraging and they know Paragliding like nobody else. I decided to do my P1 & P2 in one long sprint, spending approximately 15 days with them over a 20 day period. Despite some setbacks (mainly me losing my nerve) they were always there for support, patient and understanding. I completed my training, was certified and left with a feeling that I was well prepared for the sport. Other students were doing classes one to two days a week or in 5 day blocks and it was all fluid and flexible. They've built a great culture and in excited to go back and fly with these guys again. A++, would fly again!”

“This school is great over all. Instructors are awesome and are wanting to help you succeed in the program. You get your moneys worth and affordable. Im currently in the nursing unit assistant program, last day of classes is April 30. Then starting practicum in May. The program coordinator was very helpful getting my practicum organized for the Kamloops hospital (where im located.) Yes, its over an hour drive, but doing research on schools that offer this program in Kamloops, its over priced for me and didn't work with my schedule at work. After researching into okanagan collage, I felt very confident in this school and it was the right choice! Plus it was part time studies which worked better for my work place. Almost being done with the program, I do feel confident going into my practicum, they teach you the right tools. I also like the fact we have access to the practice computer program that interior health uses. I had an awesome experience with this school.”
