“Beautiful property and a very relaxing vacation experience. We stayed in the Perch and loved watching the sunsets over the lake from the patio. The suite is gorgeously designed, with every last detail adding to a modern, stylish, and peaceful effect; and thoughtfully stocked with all the essentials and more. Anna and Alan are fantastic hosts, very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the area. Villa Magnolia is just a few minutes from the lake, and there are lots of restaurants and wineries within a short distance. Overall it was just a fantastic vacation spot and we left happy and refreshed. Loved it - can't wait to come again!!”

“What a wonderful place to get away and relax. Stunning view! Clean and bright room. The KVR trail steps behind us for hiking and cycling and then lots of wineries to choose from all along the road to our destination. The hosts were wonderful with a beautiful breakfast and even raspberries picked fresh from the vine. Will definitely be back.”

“Best kept secret in BC. Family friendly, price is right, idyllic, beaches and great courses. I've taken fly fishing, pottery and Cuban drumming. Best wine region of the world. Great opportunities for kids to do their own thing, meet people, and hang out together as a family. Couldn't recommend it higher. Having said that, it's not for those who expect spa treatment, fancy buffets and air conditioning. This is more rustic, unpretentious and down to earth if that's your style. Although it's hosted by the United Church, there's no churchy vibe, everyone gets to do their own thing.”

“It was my first time touring in Okanagan and visiting all the different types of winery. Therapy really stood out for me the most, the young lady there who helped us out (sorry forget her name) she was amazing! She suggested other winery’s to visit and has said nothing but positive feedback about each and everyone of them. The wine is amazing and customer service, thank you!”

“What an amazing experience! Peter the host is just an extremely friendly genuine guy with a strong desire to make sure guests have a great time and get to explore the area. The location itself is one of the most serene and relaxing places I've stayed at in a long time. Amazing views, extremely quiet and lots of wildlife. The room was very comfortable and well decorated with everything you might need in cold or hot weather. Located just down from many of the top wineries in the area and some local food shops you're never more than a few minutes from your next adventure. Outside the room was a shared pool and hot tub which we were taught how to use, and encouraged to enjoy during our time. I'd definitely recommend taking a dip! My stay here would easily be in the top 3 stays I had in Canada (travelled from east->west and back)”

“I highly recommend this Inn. This place is so unique since it was built in 1908 and restored in 1999. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The dining space for breakfast was beautiful. If you have a group of 4-5 people I highly suggest booking the champagne room. I planned a stagette here and it slept 5 of us easily. It was spacious and absolutely stunning. Thanks for making our experience so great!”

“Very cute and relaxing location. Girlfriend and I came here to get away for the long weekend. Motel room included a small living and dining area, small kitchen with a stove top, a full bathroom, separate bedroom, and a private/fenced in backyard seating area. Easily walkable to the beach, cafe, pub, and pizza place. Just across from the general store. Would have rated higher but there were two massive spiders in the bathroom.”

“The best B & B in the Okanagan. Well, one of the best, for sure. Great location. Great hosts (Don and Susan) greet you with the warmest welcoming smile. They go out of their way to make your stay most enjoyable. Fully equipped cottage with whatever your heart desires. Probably more than what you have at home. They even have an attachment at their bathtub (also have shower) to hold your wine glass while you are enjoying the exquisite local Merlot while soaking in the hot water scented with their lavender bath salt. Indulgence. And then you enjoy one-of-a-kind sunsets from your balcony overlooking Don’s pristine vineyards, his pride and joy, (Susan runs the B & B) the glittering lake and the snow-capped mountains in the backyard. What a view. The red sun setting behind the mountains as colorful as the fiery volcano, Mauna Loa, on the Big Island of Hawaii. Sad day to leave. Want to come back, for sure. And soon.”

“No B and B could ever be as good as Sutherland! My husband and I have gone a few times and just love our experience! Always clean, quiet and the best breakfast. Pam always has made us feel so welcome and let us pick our breakfast time. This year we decided to do something a little different and go to a B and B in Osoyoos. It just didn’t compare to Sunderland. We will be back every year!”

“Came up in winter and it was an awesome place to explore the wilderness, complete with ice fishing, sledding and s'mores. The new management and renovations are great and our whole group had a great time. Food was great too!”
