(May 22, 2019, 6:05 pm)Lovely rec site, hard to get to for vehicle with low ground clearance but that also means you don't get the crowd! Please be aware that the temperature here is colder than in city. The fact there are still sheets of ice on lake surface during May is a good indicator. Dress warm!

(July 16, 2018, 6:22 pm)Beautiful remote alpine lake. Hiking in is a good choice as trails in can be a bit treacherous- leave your Honda at home or on the main road.
