I went into Smooth Effects to learn about laser hair removal. I was getting sugaring hair removal done, but was still getting a lot of ingrown hairs ... that was the reason why I started sugaring, to stop the ingrowns from shaving. The ladies at Smooth Effects are very friendly and knowledgeable. Bethany is amazing and the procedure wasn’t half as painful, or as long, as I thought it would be. I’m super sensitive and get very nervous with new procedures. I was so delighted after, I had to give Bethany a hug and thank her for her amazing work. I can’t wait for my next session in 7 weeks and highly recommend Smooth Effects to everyone. During the session, Bethany went over everything and made sure I had a good understanding, and answered any questions I had. You wear goggles that cover your eyes, lay back and relax as the laser zaps. For me, it felt sort of warm, and like a rubber band snapping for a quick second. She offered to put an ice pack on the areas she finished lasering, but I didn’t need it. Since I am sensitive, she did turn the laser down a little, which I appreciate and I’m excited to see what it will feel like at the next session, at a higher level. We were busy chatting and laughing that it went by pretty quick. Maybe half an hour? Why waste your time and money on waxing and sugaring when the hair will just come back? Laser hair removal is definitely the way to go and is about the same price as a partial bikini sugaring session. I wish I would of gotten laser hair removal sooner. Amazing experience and very happy I went in. Thanks ladies! ❤️
