“Giants Head is under construction, many of the trails have been blocked off, with new trails under construction. Apparently stairways are to be installed in strategic areas. At this point I'm skeptical on wether the changes will improve the trail system or not. Only time will tell.”

“Fenced area to keep the non-pet endowed humans out! Generally a few dogs, not very busy, sandy beach, room to run, dig and swim for hours! A couple of places for the humans to sit and hang out and teach them to socialize. You can let the humans off leach here in the fenced area. Or leash them and take them for a long walk along the beach, (they like that!) In the off season you can go to the large park beside it if your humans need some throwing exercise (they like that too!) Oh, and have your human bring treats, ...for all of us!.”

“Although I live in summerland my 6 year old daughter wanted to go camping and this was an easy local option. We arrived around 8pm and the office was closed, but a small sign said set up and see office in the morning. After setting up we met an older gentleman driving a golf cart who is site security.. he was outstanding.. even gave my daughter an ice cream sandwich... was beautiful, quiet and just 100% perfect.”
