Great Docks with power and water. Private club but with a visitor dock - very welcoming to visitors. Van Anda is a cute small village and it is a short walk to the great museum (open Thursday to Sunday), the store, great and inexpensive cafe and the welcoming pub. We will be returning!
Clean and quiet with a few spots for transient boats !
with no staff or tourists Imformation on the local sightseeing or amenities till your outside of the gates.
Eventually someone will come around to collect the dock fees.
Great welcoming committee.......Bob, the marina master, and his pal fae Aberdeen Scotland. Very friendly. 85c per foot, cash only. Bob even drove us up to the Texada inn since they were closing in half an hour. Very kind, nice people, thank you! Glad to know that there are still decent people on this earth 😘
A small marina with a visitor's dock, free moorage til 2 pm daily and reasonable fees thereafter. A biffy on land, wharfinger's office a short walk nearby and a restaurant/bar 3 blocks further. Marble bay gives nice shelter to all but direct easterlies.
This place has a nice feel to it friendly community small island lifestyle. The price was good for what you get $.62 per foot on decent docks with 15 amp power and water.
