This is one of the best trails I have done in Canada.
The walk in the forest is awesome, and you get such incredible views of the 3 lakes. Great waterfalls too.
It was quite busy on a weekday morning, we've been told it was much more crowded during summer.
Magnificent!! Worth the trip! Beautiful British Columbia! So well maintained. Many thanks to the park staff. Ensure you get a day pass, they check at the entrance. The ample parking and outhouses located at the entrance. I highly recommend a visit/hike.
This hike is one of the most interesting ones!
You pass by three lakes, waterfall and little bridges. All of that together make the hike feels to pass by very fast and you don’t feel you get tired.
It’s an easy hike, maybe for some a little challenging when approaching the third lake.
For the adventure seekers I recommend to go farther up after passing by the camping area. You will get the best view from the top.
The hike was tranquil and made one feel close to nature. In the middle there was a light mist, which made the journey more mystical. The highlight was seeing the emerald lakes throughout the hike. This trail is not for people who cannot climb stairs. I would recommend hiking sticks. Definitely worthwhile!
One of the best places to visit, this place is a paradise, pure natural surroundings, there are three lakes and a waterfall here. The first lake is about 500 meters from the parking lot and it’s beautiful, the second lake is a bit of a hike around 3.5 KM uphill and it’s excellent. Then there is a waterfall which is beautiful. There is a 20 min hike from second lake to third lake, about 1 KM, but it’s all worth every step you take, the third lake is just Wow, it’s paradise, breathtaking views of the glacier. I would recommend everyone visit this park, you need to get a free day pass from DiscoverBC website.
