“My fiancé and I stayed at Tyax with several friends during our engagement weekend over the Canada Day long weekend. Staff (especially Bayley) were wonderful and took great care of us. Our group had a beautiful dinner all together which went smoothly and tasted great! (Though we would love to see the famous crispy chicken sandwich back on the menu). The property is stunning and they offer free kayak, canoe and paddle board rentals to see the lake and there are lots of trails nearby to explore. We are looking forward to future trips here and are excited to look into having our wedding at Tyax.”

Stunning views, awesome fishing, and owner is a very hospitable person. Helped up back out trailer in when we asked. Reasonably priced, clean facilities. We are happy campers here.”

“Not many people know about this place. 2 different beaches . The SW side has more people . Clear water . There's a BC Hydro Rapid flowing into the middle of the beach . Good swimmers can swim out to it . It's refreshing glacial water . There's a big boat dock on the East point of the beach area. Great views . Where the rainforest meets the desert . I loved it here !!! Very friendly people !”

“Clean washrooms, the full service sites might not fit a 30' or longer. Our trailer 19.5' and we parked across the road. The full service sites are small but $25 per night so a good deal. Cash only at the moment, dogs are allowed. Be prepared to pick up old dog poop out of your campsite before you start using it. The dry sites were larger and had beautiful views of the Fraser River.”

“I visited here on Canada day on Canada day that is July 1st 2022., There was a little concert in Whistler Olympic plaza. It was a Sunny day very nice vibe. There are restaurants around the plaza. Hotels all around nearby. Hotels were expensive as it was long weekend. So I recommend to plan weigh ahead for good deals. There is a fresh market, Where you can buy fruit snacks wafers and even hot food if you don't want to dine in a restaurant. Overall Whistler was a good experience was just for one night stay.”

“Had a nice trip here and we enjoyed the hike up to the falls area. The paths were well maintained and marked. Stay behind the fenced area, it's there for a reason. Almost witnessed a bad accident but cooler heads prevailed and the tourists got off the restricted rock area. There are ways to get better views but please keep safety in mind. You need special FAA clearance to fly your drones for those amazing shots here too people so maybe leave it in the car, especially if there are plenty of people. Enjoy your day and enjoy your stay. Highly recommended and we will be back”

Skywalk Trailhead

Address: Mountain View Dr, Whistler, BC V0N 1B8, Canada

Park Point of interest Establishment Tourist attraction

“Did the Skywalk north loop to iceberg lake and came back via screaming cat lake and flank trail. 22km in around 8.5hrs with some breaks and photo stops. All types of terrain with some challenging areas. Trail was marked better than expected - there are a few points where the trail forks or crosses another and needed to check the trail map but otherwise was simple to follow. Bugs were out of control in some parts but the views made up for it. Didn't see any bears but some recent bear activity in some places. A great day hiking!”

Meadow Park

“Pretty busy on a Sunday afternoon in the summer but tons of green space and plenty of shade to find on a hot day. Went to the splash pad for the kids to keep cool & I had some fun running around too. There is also a playground, lots of parking, public tolets & a paved trail. Have fun, it's a nice park.”

“Great campsite. Wish we could have taken a site in the back area as the view is amazing but the rest of our family were tenting and we wanted to be closer to them. Sites were all good size. We took a walk in the area and was really happy to see the place looking well maintained and clean. We didn't use the washrooms till our last day when we were about to leave and didn't want to use our RV washroom anymore and was so surprised on how clean and big the washrooms are. Would definitely come back and highly recommend this place. Very close to lots of nice hiking place and beautiful water falls”

Brandywine Falls Provincial Park

Park

“After a short hike into the forest along the river, you meet with a breathtaking free-fall waterfall. The lookout deck is amazing. I go here every year at the change of seasons. Never tired of seeing the Falls and nature in all its glory. The payoff is astounding!”

Russet Lake

Address: Squamish-Lillooet C, BC V0N 0A0, Canada

Campground Lodging Park

“Completely isolated - be prepared to carry in and out all your own things ie your own tent / sleeping stuff and rubbish. I was told there are of course wild bears in the area so be ‘bear aware’. I trekked there on 9th July 2019 and there was some snow on the trail. There is a shack there which can house 7 people. Remember you need to pay BC parks for this and if you are caught without paying I think the charge is >$100”

Eagle River Métis Fishing Lodge & RV Park

Address: 1050 Depot Rd, Squamish, BC V0N 1H0, Canada

Campground Lodging Park

“A good place to go, almost bush camping, they have a garbage bin, a portapodie. Many lots, the lots on the main entrance are sand and is Super soft to sleep on (using sleeping bags) we fit 12 person tent in the lot, had room for the rest of the stuff in the image. The owner was super nice ? we called basically last minute and they were happy to help us out. I recommend this place to anyone with a trailer or anyone who wants to camp :D”
