Went for dine in last Saturday. There is lots of variety on the menu. Great service and very polite, friendly staff. Sushi rolls are so fresh and tasty. I ordered a combo box which comes with a miso soup. Prices seemed fair. Glad I found this places while I was vacationing out of town.
Great place for a Japanese food fix when traveling between Whistler and Vancouver. What we like:
- Accommodated our request for seating in the patio area even though the indoors seating area was closed. They even have a screen to shield from the sun just the right amount.
- Decently fast service and employees/managers who are appreciative of the business.
- Good quality good with Bento Box options including fully cooked options for those who don't eat raw food
- Portion sizes are just right.
- Reasonable prices that are on par with Vancouver and lower than Whistler.
- They even gave us Pocky sticks!
We stopped by for dinner tonight. They were doing take out only but they had a few tables outside where you could eat your food.
The food as always was spectacular and the staff bent over backwards to make us feel welcome. We always make a point of stopping here on our way to whistler. It’s our favorite sushi in BC.
Busy Sunday evening. The wait time was over an hour for take-out - we were told 45 minutes. Decent price. The sushi itself was tasty. I’d rate the quality of food 5-stars. Although I don’t recommend ordering the seaweed salad since it’s overly priced for its tiny portion. Probably 2-stars for their customer service - definitely can be improved by acknowledging their customers who are waiting to order and communicating better (maybe an honest wait time?)
