“Genuinely surprised to find a decent pho place in Squamish. At initial thought, I was hoping for the best - I thought my partner and I were at a tourist trap but I was wrong, the food was really good and the owners are Vietnamese! We ordered the special pho with beef tripe, beef ball and rare beef, passionfruit drink and some spring rolls. The broth for the pho was delicious, if you can master that, everything else usually would taste great and it is the case for Taste of Saigon. Service was also very friendly, our waitress served us tea immediately and our food came out within 10 minutes after we placed our order. I highly recommend this place for post-climb or post-hike noms.”

“When I arrived there was only one other patron inside, sitting to my right as I enter the door. Usually there is only one gentlemen working the kitchen and cafe, I have been there twice now. Both times this gentleman has been extremely professional and polite, definitely one of the best service experiences I’ve ever had in squamish. I’d even go as far to say as good as the salted vine a few years ago. Now I have never had their coffee, however I have had two of their rolls, and both were phenomenal. Well balanced sushi rice was the right consistency. Usually with sushi like this I would expect one ingredient to overpower the dish because of its simplicity, this is not the case with this place. Give this place a try! My experiences here have always made my day better.”

“I really like supporting refill shops and will continue to come here but…the setup is horrible. They have you on your knees filling your own containers. It doesn’t make any sense why it’s done this way. There must be a fair bit of product wasted which doesn’t make much business sense. I’d encourage them to visit The Soap Dispensary in Vancouver and other refill shops. If you want people to fill their own containers you need to make the process easy and efficient (otherwise the staff should fill them). Even a simple table or counter to put the jugs on would be better. Great effort with the shop though!”

“This place is a hidden gem kind of in the middle of nowhere, but it's one of my favorite restaurants we ate at in Canada. Don't be fooled by the area it's in or the building exterior. It's kind of in an industrial park, which was strange at first, but after we ate there we didn't care. We stopped for breakfast on the way to Whistler and my teens liked it as much as my wife and I. In fact we ended up stopping for lunch on the way back to Vancouver a few days later and it was just as good. Finding a place to eat that has things all 4 of like is a rarity. Next time we go to Whistler, stopping there will be planned into the trip. If it was in my town I'd eat there all the time - can't recommend it more highly.”

“Great place for a Japanese food fix when traveling between Whistler and Vancouver. What we like: - Accommodated our request for seating in the patio area even though the indoors seating area was closed. They even have a screen to shield from the sun just the right amount. - Decently fast service and employees/managers who are appreciative of the business. - Good quality good with Bento Box options including fully cooked options for those who don't eat raw food - Portion sizes are just right. - Reasonable prices that are on par with Vancouver and lower than Whistler. - They even gave us Pocky sticks!”

We were on our way from Whistler to Vancouver when we decided to stop and have a bite to eat. The menu is a little different from the states so we decided to try the chicken strips, which are not available in our neck of the woods (Texas). The food actually was very good and hit the spot on our trip.”
