Sea to Sky Gondola

If you want to see some amazing views of Howe Sound this is the place. Situated between Shannon Falls and the Squamish Chief, the vistas are breathtaking and world class. Walking trails and suspension bridge at the top connecting with mountain loop trails and beautiful nature. This is a must see on the trip from Vancouver to Whistler.

This is a really cool stop on the way from Vancouver up to Whistler or vice versa. You can park at Shannon Falls and see that first and then take a short walk to the gondola station. Gondolas come frequently so the wait was short for us. At the top is a lodge with a restaurant and bar, a suspension bridge, and some well marked hiking trails. You could spend a lot or a little time up here depending on what you're in the mood for. If the weather cooperates you can get some great views.

On a clear day, you get the best British Columbia has to offer going to Shannon Falls, and the Sea to Sky Gondola. Definitely plan to return and hike Big Chief one day. Worth every penny

Very nice. You should try at least once and see amazing cineries during your trip to the top of the mountain. Speed is good. It was April 06 and when I reached at the top, it was snowing! Beautiful at the top. During the way was raining. And we couldn't see trails very well. Windows were full of rain.. we had to find the spot to look at them. Beyer to choose sonny day!

We always enjoy visiting this place. We live in north Vancouver so we got the annual passes so almost every few weekends we come here for a hike. Great food, excellent views and loving people. What else do you need for a fun visit.
