Challenging hike with steep grade and amazing scenery the whole way. It's best to have good hiking footwear as the shade and waterfalls can make the trail slippery.
Restrooms at the bottom. Close to Squamish if you need water or snacks.
Great hike for the intermediate hikers. Some section is very steep and challenging. Descending is not easy either so good hiking boots are recommended.
It feels like a never ending Grouse Grind, but the view at the top is fantastic and worth the every effort to get up there.
This is a great hike. I gave four stars instead of five simply because of how busy it is. Even in the middle of winter there is still quite a few people up there.
Beautiful views. Be prepared for a steep climb and a bit of "climbing" towards the top. Can be slippery so bring good hiking shoes
First peak hike up the chief was a great workout. 2 and half hrs up and 1 hr and 45 mins down. Definitely worth it!
