(June 27, 2020, 4:59 pm)To start off, it's already cool that it's a passive house, but it's a nice little building to take of all activities in Lost Lake trails, and the coffee shop and the upstairs lounge area makes it very cozy, both before or after your day activity.
(March 10, 2019, 2:17 am)A really cool building, the first Passive house in Canada I believe! Passive house design involves no heating or steel in the construction (along with other things), the building design is self insulating and heating - super warm and toasty in there! It is the rental shop for the Lost Lake recreation area (snowshoes, cross country skis, etc) and where you buy your permits to access the grounds. They also have a little coffee shop downstairs with seating upstairs.
