I have a lot of respect for any pizzeria that can make the perfect Neapolitan crust and Pizzeria Antico is one of them! They have a great selection of pizza so we had a hard time choosing! My favorite was fungi pizza that surprisingly but also delightfully came with equal parts caramelized onions. Cutting your own pizza with the scissors they provided added to the fun!
Another food my wife loves is pizza, and I don’t really like the chain restaurants type, I want the authentic gourmet kind of Pizza, so here we are.
The pizza were really good, dough were so fluffy, and thin, the sauce was on the carne fell off the pizza, but it was still tasty.
The pasta was the only slight disappointment we had, pasta was a little under cook, it’s a little harder than al dente in my opinion.
Beer was great. Service was friendly, we like it overall
Really enjoyed this dinner last night. Staff was super nice and helpful- not just with foods but local hike recommendations too! We had the Four Cheese Pizza with Ranch and the Margherita with Olives. Both so good. I do wish my Margherita pizza had more Basil tho. But I love Basil. I actually loved the ranch since it was pretty dill heavy. We had a bottle of Chianti and it was plenty of food for two.
Happy hour everyday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. $8 margarita pizzas. can't beat it with a stick. honestly, best pizza I've had in the nation of Canada. authentic Neapolitan style Italian pizza with scissors. as in, you cut the pizza with scissors. not to mention the $4 beers, which are craft. Craft beers. The server was an angel. everybody should come here every single day when they are in Whistler.
