Boru Carpentry

A wonderful experience. We recently reached out to Kevin and asked him to take on a relatively small project involving building out a wall to accommodate an electric fireplace and tv. We had a general concept which he parlayed into a lovely finished product. His calm demeanour paralleling his meticulous and honest approach was amazing. A fair price for exceptional work. And… he made sure that timeline commitments were honoured. We highly recommend Kevin and his team. Amazing!! Thank you Boru!!!

Kevin is a gem! We recently bought a house that needed a few repairs. Additionally, we wanted to have the carport enclosed into a garage. So we contacted Boru Carpentry to give us a quote. As we walked around discussing the work we needed done, Kevin took notes and asked good clarifying questions. He produced a thorough quote, clearly outlining the breakdown of costs, as well as identifying potential additional costs due to the unknown condition of the underlying structure.

As it turns out, one wall had extensive water damage, so we ended up needing an entire corner section of our lower floor rebuilt. After diagnosing the extent of the problem, Kevin calmly explained what the scope of work would be. He and his team did excellent work from framing and weatherproofing, to interior drywall to exterior siding.

We had the additional complication of being out of town while much of the work was being done. Kevin was very communicative in texting photos of the progress they made each day as well as presenting us with key decisions to be made as they arose. For the garage portion of the project, Kevin coordinated with the electricians and garage door company, relieving us of the burden of having to handle that ourselves.

We were so satisfied with all of the work Kevin and his crew did. We will use them again for any and all of our projects in the future.
