“This place is magical 😍 So quiet, so peaceful, so relaxing. We spent two wonderful nights in #2, oceanfront king. We loved watching the wildlife from the deck. Eagles, heron, seals, otters, and more. The bed was super comfy, the amenities were just right. We loved our lazy days in front of the fire. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The other guests were lovely. The pavilion is jawdropping- check out all of the amazing carvings and quirky touches. Great for a family getaway, romantic weekend or girls trip ✌️ The watercolor sunsets were the cherry on top. Bring your own food or venture out to one of the tasty cafes or restaurants. We recommend Clove for dinner.”

“Mattone is a wonderplace for a special lunch. Everything is freshly made. Burger was juicy. Seafood chowder is the best I've had in Campbell River. It contains good chunks of fish, scallops, mussels and shrimp. Winter salad with pumpkin and beets was delicious. Even the pretty dishware adds to the experience.”

“I always keep an eye out for Zatarain rice and when I did an online search Discovery Foods Willow Point was listed as a place to try. I sent an email and received a reply by the next morning letting me know they only had the Zatarain Jambalaya in stock. Along with the message was a photo of the box. The message also stated that if I couldn't make it to their store they could send it to the Oyster River store for pick up. Thank you to Willow Point for being so considerate. I did stop there today and purchased all six boxes they had on the shelf.”

You just finished doing a job at our neighbors and you all were getting ready to leave, saw my hubby and I struggling to get rid of an old fence post , which we needed to get into our driveway. “This turned out to be a nice surprise. After a confusing arrival. Looking back on previous reviews this location look like it had a patio overlooking the ocean it does not. It is located in a small shopping centre with a patio out front in the parking lot. At first glance, we were disappointed but the interior of the restaurant is very funky, I did not have a chance to take any interior pictures. The staff is super helpful and friendly, then to top it off, the food is excellent! high-quality, very tasty and huge portions. We ordered three pizzas and they were excellent! The pickle pizza was weirdly great. I also ordered the beef dip and Greek salad, it was huge and delicious. Another review showed hamburgers, and they do not have hamburgers. The wine and beer list is great. Highly recommend stopping in or doing a pick up order. It’s definitely worth it.”

“The Dream Team really is! We’ve used landscape designers in both the United States and Mexico. Pierce and Elsa are incredible. Elsa took our ideas and with Pierce translated them into the loveliest imaginable outdoor gardens. Our architect had used shou sugi ban siding, and The Dream Team’s fencing took this same technique to new heights in their design. We are equally impressed with their business management side: they commit clearly, follow through all the time, and are very competitive in their bids.”

“The Whales and Wilderness trip with Spirit of the West Adventures was one of the most memorable trips we’ve ever taken. We were there both as guests and to help capture the experience on camera, to convey the experience in an interactive 360° Virtual Tour, videos, photos, and aerial drone footage. The glamping experience was next level, with a hot tub that had stunning ocean views, beautiful canvas tents with comfortable beds, outdoor showers, and a Robinson Crusoe-style dining area. The food and wine were also top-notch. But what really made the experience were the amazing guides and staff, and the incredible access to wildlife viewing from the kayaks. We saw all kinds of wildlife such as humpback whales, orcas, dolphins, sea lions, seals, and eagles. I highly recommend Spirit of the West Adventures for anyone looking for an unforgettable outdoor adventure.”
