If you remember The Beachcombers, you gotta stop in for a bite. The place is kinda run down, but the food was good. Try the fish and chips. It was one of the better ones I've had.

Great fish and chips

Extremely popular, food is well prepared and delivered quickly but I felt that the very nice one piece cod was a bit on the smallish side for the price. Coffee and service is top notch; one of our party ordered a cocktail and found it delicious. Hopefully whoever buys this iconic cafe will continue its unique heritage.

We ate here twice on the August long weekend on the patio and the staff were great.

We got cod and chips for our meals and they were great both times. Good portions, crispy batter and moist fish!

The staff all wore masks, tried hard to be hospitable while maintaining distance and were being cautious while sanitizing tables, chairs and their hands. We saw some customers being really rude to stuff which was uncalled for when they are just trying to do their jobs under stressful circumstances and I was sad to see that. To anyone complaining about wait times or the fact that they can’t sit people in groups larger than 6, that is something out of their control because they are following provincial operating rules. Be kind to people just trying to do their jobs while keeping themselves and their loved ones safe.
