The Cove Restaurant and Lodge

A wonderful place, a stain of joy waiting for a ferry in car traffic this summer. Great service. But I cannot say about price or meals, we had couple beers.

The restaurant itself is comfortable and clean, however we Paid $20 for the salmon burger which was just a piece of salmon and lettuce on a bun... no tomato, no sauce, no soul. My lime shrimp and brown rice bowl was was way too sour and had no brown rice in it. These are minor things but for $20 i think this bowl should have at least filled my belly.
If they are going to charge top dollar for their food they need to consider enhancing the menu items and include bigger sides or something.
I guess thats what happens when you're a captive audience with nowhere esle to go.

For a small cafe, not bad at all. Expect a small town atmosphere, and you will not be disappointed. Prices good, and counter staff great. Buddha bowl huge and tasty, big enough for 2. Pancakes adequate, but the syrup can be improved. Need another option besides light syrup. A good place to chill waiting for the ferry.
