The Stonewater Motel LTD

CLEAN, QUIET, COZY! This place is AMAZING! My partner and I buzzed over to Sechelt from Vancouver on a whim and when we got to the Sunshine coast, we decided we wanted to stay the night. I booked last-minute over-the-phone on Saturday afternoon for Saturday night and Terri was so accomodating! She made booking and picking up our key steamlined and easy. The room itself (we got #109) was immaculately clean - just spotless and so perfectly-appointed. The kitchenette is a GREAT feature - there's literally everything you need (a fully-stocked coffee and tea drawer, coffee makers (K cup and drip), mini fridge, stove, other small appliances and cutlery/utensils. Location is great! The Motel grounds are well-maintained and there's even a fire pit (wish we'd had time to use it - so cozy!!). Can't say enough about how great this place is. The value for the price is perfect! Can't wait to come back. The Stonewater's going to be THE place we stay when we do Sunshine Coast trips from now on! Thanks Terri!

Stayed at the campground and was pleasantly surprised! Aside from the occasional roaring highway traffic which they have no control over, it was really quiet and peaceful. The portapotties were well maintained and the price was great. We were a little bit worried about there being only a water tap but no sinks since we were bringing along a baby, but we figured it out and brought a water canister with a tap. We especially enjoyed having a campfire! Would definitely come back again!

I recently stayed at The Stonewater for a week and it was unexpectedly fabulous. Terry makes you feel so welcome and at home within minutes of meeting her. The rooms are spotless and well equipped with all the kitchen and bathroom essentials you will need. There are Keurig coffee machines in every room with all the coffee/tea/hot chocolate you want, as well as coffee pots. The grounds are immaculate, as is the campground. I can't wait to go back in the Fall:))

The motel is located right of the highway but very quiet, clean and perfectly maintained. This is not your typical motel. The room was better stocked, maintained and cleaned than many top end hotels I have stayed at (and worked for- Fairmont, 4 Seasons...). All the amenities one needs+++. Terri took amazing care of my booking and no details were over looked. She truly went far above and beyond and is in my mind a top level hospitality pro. (many hoteliers could learn a thing or two from her!) I look forward to staying here again and you should as well! Thanks Terri

Beautiful gardens and lawns. Perfect for playing bocce with the balls provided. Very comfortable and pretty camping spots. Everything is neat, clean and tidy. Friendly owner. All good!
