If it wasn't for her I don't think I would be diving as I do now. I'm still very much learning the ropes which has me appreciating her patience and encouragement all the more. Also: Her demeanour and diving ethic is in stark contrast to what I encountered initially at the Diving Locker, which was rushed and withdrawn. Stephanie encourages communication and slowness and play. She wants you to keep diving! All you would want in a diving instructor and diving comrade.”

“My wife and I went to the Sunshine Coast for a relaxing getaway and the Manor in the forest was definitely one of the highlights! Everything we could have wanted plus so much more. From the beautiful outdoor patio and firepit to all the necessary kitchen/bath amenities... We only stayed for two nights but it felt like a home away from home! We loved the secluded location, there are hiking trails and beach within walking distance. We will definitely have to consider this spot again when we are back in the Sunshine Coast.”

“We came on a Sunday in late July, a group of 7 international kids and 2 adults. We had no reservations. Theresa was on her own and had some reservations to deal with. She asked us to wait. She was amazingly kind, professional and strong dealing with waiting people and heavy kayaks. She did it all with such grace and friendliness. I would recommend Alpha Adventures for kayak rental and Theresa in a heart beat. I can't wait to go back and explore more of the inlet. Beautiful spot and excellent company. Thank you Theresa!”

Glad we stopped though as it was great to stretch the legs, and we able to get some local insights as well. What a great little spot. “Ed & Daniela are the perfect hosts at an impeccable, we'll designed, thoughtful cottage getaway. The cottages are beautifully situated on a stunning property. The photos really don't do it justice & we thought it was much more beautiful in person than in the photos (which often isn't the case with vacation home photos!). Ed & Daniela have thought of everything with so many personal touches like home baked treats in a nicely stocked little kitchen. They even thought to put some music and the fireplace on before our arrival. The hosts are close by so that every need is met & they are readily available, but far enough away to give you privacy. Just steps from the cottages, the hot tub pagoda is so relaxing, nestled into this incredible gardens. The location is fantastic, too. Plenty of beautiful hikes close by as well as great restaurants & shops. And being so close to Vancouver, it's effortless to get there & yet you feel like you are so far away from the city when you are there. We were absolutely delighted with our visit and will definitely return!”

“Gorgeous part of the world. If your looking to spend 3-4 hours on a tour boat enjoying beautiful scenery, with a stop at Chatterbox Falls, this is for you. Just don’t expect to learn much about the area, including the history of all the different peoples that have occupied it. It is as they say a scenic tour with very limited commentary of what you are seeing. The snack box provided is per couple.”

And his tour was so much better value than any other comparable tours. He was full of funny stories and just nice to be around. Anyone who hasn't done the tour should do it with Captain Kevin. The area is so picturesque and it will change your perspective on life.”

“We rented sea kayaks for a 4 day trip in Sechelt Inlet. The kayaks were great and the staff were so helpful getting the peddles adjusted and helping us launch. We were really impressed with how the staff helped us pick the right equipment for our group. Free parking close by and easy to put in right at the harbour! “This property is a superbly tranquil, truly special place. The decor is a very tasteful "rustic west-coast contemporary", and blends seamlessly with its surroundings. I loved that it felt so private, and was just steps to the sandy beach. There are loads of gorgeous walks right out the door, and at the end of the day, having the private hot tub to relax in was heavenly...Waking up to the fabulous coffee station was definitely a plus, too! I felt completely refreshed after my time there, and although there is so much to see and do on the sunshine coast, you may get here and just feel like chilling at home all day with a good book. The host responded to any questions very quickly and with an extremely friendly manner, and ensured that I was able to make the most of time time. I adore this place and can't wait to come back!
