We took the dog for a run in the field behind the baseball diamond and it was an ok field. One bench, some bins for garbage. And I know it’s not an off leash but dog needed somewhere to run after 8 hours in the car. However! I am giving this place a four bc it has a swimming pool, baseball fields, some random covered space (pickleball? Ball hockey?) and quite the play ground. Cache Creek is still clearly recovering from the May flood devastation so it needs all the stars we can give it.
This is a good little park for a stop over on the way through town. The pool has been closed for some time and seems unlikely to open again. The park however, has a great playground for kids, a gazebo to get out of the sun (or rain), a large field to run around in, picnic tables (not covered) for a picnic, and access to a small spot on the river to stick your feet in the water to cool down on a hot day. There were two bathrooms open when we were there, but not sure if that is always the case.
The go to park for Cache Creek, we hope the public swimming pool returns to working order for the large amount of children and families that will desperately need it this summer. If not at least the Bonaparte is right there..
Cool park. Has a little playground, a walking path and a ball diamond. Outdoor swimming pool for the warmer months and a large all weather, covered basketball court(s) which is also lit.
Beautifully situated park with stunning views and plenty of space. There's a newly constructed asphalt walk, large trees and 2 baseball diamonds a lots of picnic room. Also, there are washrooms on site and plenty of picnic tables. Go enjoy the park!
