“Edit: Dear responder, thanks for clarifying the situation Only reason I joined this bank was for the $1000 Bursary. First time I went in, the employee working said that they would follow up with the application. I never received one. I then went back to ask why and they said that they "sent it" and that I would have to wait another year to apply again. This time I did receive an application email in which I followed through. I did it step by step to make sure I would be guaranteed the bursary. I even went back to the bank to double check I was doing everything right, in which they said I was. This May, they said they would let those who were applicable know. So I went in to the bank and asked. Apparently something went "wrong" and information was not inputed correctly and that they tried calling me twice (however I never received a call from them). So now I would have to apply next year. Which is not going to happen. Switching to another bank asap and hopefully I won't have to have my time wasted. Not sure if this is an actual mishap or they are trying to keep your account with them. Just disappointed with the quality of the bank and if I had known this would happened, I would've never applied to be here. side note: their hours need improvement, and also for those who want to pay with their phone, you can't with IS”
