“Jim and Lyle are the owners and operators of Batnuni Lake Outfitters and I have had the pleasure of successfully hunting with them twice (will be going back a third time). Jim and Lyle provides a wonderful camp atmosphere that is welcoming and inclusive for both returning hunters and new hunters alike. Their guiding skills are second to none and they will go above and beyond trying to get you in position to put a bear or moose on the ground (making a good shot it's up to you). Pete, the camp cook is a great guy that makes sure you are well fed (maybe too well) and is always willing to a assist in any way possible. Value for money - you can't find a better hunt in Canada. As you can tell I'm a big fan of Batnuni Lake outfitters!!!”

“The location is beautiful, the price is good and the owner is nice, but the motel room was pretty run down. The bathroom smelled like smoke and the TV was half-working. It was clean though. Note that the rooms vary a lot. I was in room #2 and it was dark and had a strange layout. Another time I stayed in a room with several windows and I thoroughly enjoyed it.”

“What a great family campground. Across from the lake easy to get to. The power did go off for a few hours due to something electrical. But it was serviced quickly. We will definitely be back soon. Plus the campground owners are great people, very personable and easy to talk to. I highly recommend staying here.”

“Just had a wonderful stay at Pillar Lake. Holly and her husband were great hosts. They were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The lake is beautiful and campsites are large and private. We have a 26 foot trailer and had plenty of room to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. This was our second time back and already booked for next summer.”
