“We loved the rustic log cabins built in another era. Especially the wood stove that was a wonderful experience to cook on after getting it fired up. And temps were 10-18C so it gave a cozy warmth. We accommodated no running water in cabin just fine. Pristine location. No cell phone service gave us real family time. Rental boats very reasonably priced. Campfire every night was the best. Joy & Matt are best hosts.”

“I can't actually rate this business but I can rate the owners. My husband and I were in a serious accident near their property and their entire family came to our aid while we waited for the rescue crews to arrive. They offered their home, let my young daughter and I sit in their vehicle to stay warm, assisted while my husband was trapped in our car down a steep embankment. They also stayed until everyone left the scene. They are without a doubt very kind and generous people. We can't thank them enough for their assistance along with the others who helped us.”

“Our meal of coconut chicken and rice was bland and uninspired. It was basically breaded and deep fried chicken with a can of coconut cream topped over top. No additional interesting Indian spices or anything that would've move it out of the ordinary. We've eaten other good dishes here but this one needs a rethink”

“Our first time ever Stand Up Paddleboarding, it was so much fun we went back the very next day ! ( so nice we did it twice ) The staff is so professional and kind. They are very thorough in cleaning and sanitizing their equipment, from life jackets to paddle boards, everything is cleaned and sanitized before use. I was very impressed and reassured. Such a fun activity for families or couples or singles. The perfect social distancing activity too. Get out and enjoy B.C. ! Beautiful lake and a super fun experience. 5 star !!”

It was a good spot to bring kids too, as they got pick some too, and otherwise had a good amount of space to run around. We’ll definitely be back, though how soon will depend on how many haskaps we can fit in the freezer...”

“This was a good AirBnB stay. Isabelle (the hostess) was hospitable throughout our stay (we stayed for 3 nights). The first thing that caught my eye was the place itself, and it was incredible to see in person. It was a very cozy cabin-like place, and my partner and I were very satisfied with the place and location overall. The house is about an 8-minute drive away from Sun Peaks Resort. Also, there are a BBQ, hot tub, sauna, firepits (electric and an actual one), and also a very stuffed pantry available for use.”

“My family and I came to Sun Peaks for a 5 day get away. This was our first time and i wanted to really capture the moment with our small kids (2 daughters- 7 and 10) while they actually like to be with us. Zuzy was fast to respond to my inquiry, with some amazing ideas to capture our girls and the family. She ended up coming with us dog sledding and the shots were amazing!! Our girls were so excited and the pictures were flawless. She captured our memories, and so many smiles!! I cannot wait to go back and will definitely call her again for our action shots on the hill. “We were a group of four and had the best time on the water fishing. What a fantastic experience and so exciting to catch all those fish. Wally was very knowledgeable and patient and even took us to parts of the lake we could swim and jump off rope swings. We even saw a turtle hideaway that had at least 50 turtles!! Very cool activity to do while visiting Sun Peaks.”
